Summer Shadows

I love to illustrate the interactions between flowers and their pollinators. Lemon lilies (Lilium parryi) are rare flowers which are native to the American southwest and Mexico. They bloom in the mountains in late summer, and are pollinated by hawkmoths, such as the white-lined sphinx moth in this piece.
